Axians Qatar, the operational entity of Cegelec Qatar (a subsidiary of VINCI Energies Oil & Gas), was established in 2020 to meet the growing demands of the Qatari market in telecommunications, IoT cybersecurity, and industrial networks.

Role

• Assist in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the ICT sector
• Support proposal development, client presentations, and market research
• Coordinate project timelines, resources, and deliverables across internal teams
• Monitor project progress and report on milestones and KPIs
• Facilitate communication between stakeholders, ensuring alignment and transparency 
• Contribute to process improvements and documentation
• Supervise racking and stacking teams during telecom panel construction
• Supervise site installation, integration and testing activities
• Provide Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues
• Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure
• Liaise with vendors and other personnel for problem resolution
• Ensure compliance with company HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) regulations

Profile 

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Telecommunications, or related field
• Strong understanding of networking concepts and infrastructure deployment
• Experience with network hardware and services (Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, etc.)
• Familiarity with change management and configuration protocols
• Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
• Ability to work on-site and manage field teams effectively
